A blast from the past, 1969 to be exact, and we are still suffering under one of the greatest Marxist evils forced upon America in 1913. No other tax is more demeaning, no other tax says so loudly that you are just a serf to the government and they your lords and masters.

Americans have been so whipped and brow beaten like slaves by their overlords that when their chains are loosened a little and they are allowed to keep a little more of their bread, they praise them for their mercy.

April 15, that dread Income Tax day, is around again, and gives us a chance to ruminate on the nature of taxes and of the government itself.
The first great lesson to learn about taxation is that taxation is simply robbery. No more and no less. For what is “robbery”? Robbery is the taking of a man’s property by the use of violence or the threat thereof, and therefore without the victim’s consent. And yet what else is taxation?
